Is it absorbent?

Yes. The inside is cotton towelling that soaks up the drips, with two layers of cotton gauze on the outside.

What age does it fit?

At 75 x 75 cm plus the hood, it wraps a newborn fully and fits around a toddler's shoulders like a cape.

How is it different from a regular towel?

The hood goes on first and holds the towel in place, so you can lift and wrap with one hand. It's baby-sized too, so it doesn't drag on the floor.

Will the ears flop?

They're soft fabric ears on the hood, lined in white. Like any soft fabric, they may soften and flop a little after many washes.

How do I wash it?

Wash in cool water with similar colours and line dry. Gauze naturally looks softly crinkled after washing; that's normal.
